I got shot three times in 2009 during an attempted armed robbery and experienced a lot of traumatic young age growing up in a drug-infested neighborhood. I’ve been a lifelong entrepreneur.
I’m now the father of three boys. One of my sons is overcoming autism, and that has become a subject that is very important to me. I consider my work and real estate finance my ministry because I’m changing people's lives in the trajectory of entire families. I’m also a member of a nonprofit called the New Standard Group. We teach financial literacy to teenagers.
The aftermath of 2020 has transformed the real estate market into the Wild West -- it has never been a better time to buy. I work with buyers to get them qualified for a mortgage -- even if they are self-employed, even if they believe a lender will turn them down.
