College educator and social entrepreneur.

Twelve-year career on Wall Street, first serving as a Senior Vice President and Market Strategist for two prominent Wall Street firms, and later raised capital to start-up a hedge fund business.

In 1994, founded Terrapath, Inc., a social entrepreneurial venture with a mission of delivering IT and business consulting services to the nonprofit sector. Co-Founder, e2Venture, a corporate training consultancy that provides entrepreneurial mindset workshops. Co-Founded Operation Startup, serving military Veterans, social entrepreneurs, and early stage everyday entrepreneurs through an ideation lab and interdisciplinary institute. Passionate design thinking and effectuation advocate. I have been actively working in support of Veterans and social entrepreneurs interested in business enterprising for over a decade.

Since 2007, began teaching in higher education. Currently serve three higher education institutions as a professor. Courses taught include Design Thinking, International Business, Marketing, Finance, Entrepreneurship, Management, and Leadership.

Full-time faculty member at Hillsborough Community College (HCC) and co-founder of the HCC Entrepreneurship Program.

RESEARCH INTERESTS

Cross-cultural effects of moral suasion on dishonest behavior. Relationship between time-scarcity and academic performance. The role of serendipity in business formation.

OTHER PROJECTS & BUSINESSES

In 2019, co-founded the InLab@HCC, a design thinking center that serves as an Interdisciplinary Institute for Innovation at Hillsborough Community College.

In 2016, co-founded Operation Startup - an entrepreneurship center supporting Veterans and their families interested in self employment.

Co-Founder of The Rainmaker App, linking job seekers with socially conscious citizens to promote employment.
